Deliveries and shipments

Pick, pack, ship, create backorders, use carriers, and follow customer delivery progress.

Deliveries at /sales/deliveries represent reserved stock leaving for customers. Shipments at /sales/shipments combine warehouse shipment operations and registered carrier shipments into one customer facing view.

Delivery lifecycle

Delivery states are Draft, Ready, Done, and Cancelled. The product also derives a more specific customer facing status from pick, pack, ship, carrier, and backorder activity.

Open /sales/deliveries/[id] to use Overview, Picks, Packages, Shipping, and Activity tabs.

Pick and pack

When Warehouse Operations is enabled:

  1. Select Create Pick on an eligible delivery.
  2. Complete the pick using the configured removal strategy and source bins.
  3. Select Create pack operation.
  4. Build cartons and seal or label them.

The delivery page links directly to the related pick and package records under Warehouse.

Ship directly

A Draft delivery with sealed or labeled packages can be shipped from its detail page or /sales/shipments/new.

  1. Choose the delivery and packages.
  2. Use Ship for all packages, or select a subset when backorders are enabled.
  3. Confirm the action. Shipping posts the outbound stock moves and confirms the delivery.

If only part ships and backorders are enabled, agaro creates a child delivery for the remaining cartons. If backorders are disabled, a short shipment is rejected.

Carrier shipping

Delivery Methods at /sales/delivery-methods can connect configured carrier accounts. On an eligible delivery, request live rates, choose a service, and dispatch. The registered shipment retains the tracking number and carrier state.

The Shipments page supports All shipments, Pending, Arrived, and Canceled views, plus date and status filters. Progress is shown as Packed, Labeled, Shipped, and Delivered when those events exist.

Activity and audit

The delivery Activity tab combines the delivery, pick, pack, ship, package, and carrier events into one timeline. Use it to diagnose status rather than inferring from only the delivery row.
