Account Settings guide

Account Settings belongs to the signed in user. Its changes do not automatically alter another user's profile or the shared workspace policy.

#Open it: the account menu

Your card at the bottom of the sidebar opens the account menu. It holds:

• Settings, which opens your Account Settings.
• Connect Discord, where that is available.
• Sign out.

Support is not in this menu any more. It is the Support button in the header, just before Notifications. See Get help with the Support button.

On the narrow rail of a collapsed sidebar, only your avatar shows, and it opens the same menu.

#Account sections

Account Settings, at /settings/account, is laid out like Workspace Settings. It has the title User Settings, a sidebar of sections on the start side under the heading Your account, and the open section beside it. On a phone the sidebar is a select. Every section is a link to ?tab=, so you can reach it by click and by address, and a reload keeps your place.

#Profile

Keep your name and email identity accurate because activity logs, invitations, assignments, and API actor lists can display them. Some identity changes can require reverification or administrative handling.

Do not use a shared mailbox as a substitute for separate user accounts. Individual accounts preserve permission and audit attribution.

#Preferences and appearance

Choose your appearance preferences. Agaro is in English. Theme accent and radius apply to your account experience without changing the workspace's brand assets.

• Theme: choose Light, Dark, or System, which follows your device setting. Dark mode applies across the application, including menus, dialogs, and charts.
• Content layout: choose Full, where pages use the whole width of the screen, or Compact, where pages sit in a centered column with space on both sides, Settings included. This is saved on the device you use, so a browser that blocks cookies cannot save it. In Compact, a page keeps its place when you open a record, switch tabs, save, or open a create page, so the column does not shift sideways.

Timezone affects how dates are presented. They do not convert stored invoice currency or rewrite document accounting dates.

#Security and Privacy

Enroll an authenticator app, email code, or both. Save authenticator backup codes separately. See Two factor authentication and access policy.

The two switches that used to sit here for product analytics and for recording your screen are gone. Whether the workspace shares how it uses agaro is one decision for everyone, made by a Super Admin under Product improvement in Workspace Settings. See Workspace Settings guide. Personal privacy actions apply to the user account. Workspace data export or workspace deletion remains a separate administrator controlled request.

Deleting your assistant conversation is permanent. Business module trash and workspace data requests follow different retention paths.

#Connected apps

Connected apps lists the AI apps you approved to use Agaro as you, such as ChatGPT or Claude. Each row shows the app, when it was connected, and when it was last used. Select Disconnect to stop an app at once. You can connect it again later. See Connect an AI assistant (MCP).

#Personal Gmail

Personal Gmail can send supported invoices from your address when the deployment enables the feature and the Invoices module is active. Connection state and disconnection controls appear in Account Integrations.

Workspace outgoing mail is configured separately under Workspace Settings. Ask which identity a communication should use before connecting both.

#Personal calendars

Calendars are connected in Scheduling, not here. Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook from the card at the top of the Scheduling calendar or from its Calendars menu. A connected calendar can block busy times in Event Type availability, receive bookings, and give video bookings a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link. Connected Google calendars also show upcoming events read only in Scheduling.

Editing a Google sourced event must be done in Google Calendar. agaro does not turn that read only row into a manual event. See Scheduling calendar and manual events.

#AI and AI usage

The AI tab holds your own model and behavior settings, unless an administrator has turned personal AI settings off for the workspace. Whether the workspace's AI data improves the model for everyone is not a personal choice. A Super Admin decides it in Workspace Settings, under AI, Configuration, Data and Privacy. AI usage is a section of the same tab, and older links to it land there. Review your AI spend for the current period and remaining personal budget. Model, effort, context size, App Builder turns, and retries can affect usage.

Workspace administrators manage team limits under Workspace Settings → AI → Budget and usage. A personal usage view does not grant authority to raise the workspace wallet or billing limit.

#Offboarding checklist

Before an account is suspended or removed:

1. Transfer owned operational work where necessary.
2. Disconnect personal Gmail and calendar connections.
3. Revoke API keys bound to the user, and disconnect the AI apps the person connected under Connected apps.
4. Preserve required records according to policy.
5. Suspend or remove access through administrator controls.

#Troubleshooting

#Account Settings redirects from Workspace Settings

That is intentional. Personal settings have their own shell and do not load workspace administration data.

#A personal integration cannot be changed

Your role may be read only, the workspace may be read only, the required module may be absent, or the deployment provider configuration may be unavailable.

#Appearance changed only for me

Account appearance is personal. Use Workspace Branding for shared logos and brand identity.

#AI usage is available but the assistant is not

The usage page can show historical spend even when the AI Assistant module or plan entitlement is currently unavailable.
