Inventory

Warehouses and stock operations

Configure warehouses and locations, move stock, count inventory, and use guided fulfillment when enabled.

Open /warehouse for warehouse operations. The page summarizes current activity and offers the first transfer when the workspace has no warehouse moves yet.

Warehouses and locations

  1. Open /warehouse/warehouses and create each physical stock site. A Main stock location is created with a new warehouse.
  2. Open /warehouse/locations to add bins, receiving, picking, shipping, or other internal areas.
  3. Keep location usage consistent. On hand is tracked per location and rolls up to the warehouse.

Warehouse and location creation, editing, archive, or removal require SUPER_ADMIN or MANAGER.

Transfers

Open /warehouse/transfers.

  1. Create a transfer with source location, destination location, lines, and optional schedule.
  2. Confirm it to place the move in transit.
  3. Complete it to post the destination movement.
  4. Cancel it before completion if the movement will not happen.

Transfer states are Draft, In Transit, Done, and Cancelled. A completed transfer is corrected through a new reverse transfer or adjustment, not by editing its ledger entries.

Stock adjustments and cycle counts

Use /warehouse/adjustments to reconcile counted quantity with expected quantity. Choose an accurate reason such as Count, Loss, Damage, Found, Other, or Opening.

Adjustment states are Draft, Waiting Approval, Done, and Cancelled. Large adjustments can require two person approval. The creator should not bypass the approval by splitting one physical discrepancy into smaller records.

Cycle counting is available at /inventory/cycle-counts when enabled. Use it for planned repeated counts and use a direct adjustment for an isolated correction.

Guided warehouse execution

The following routes depend on capability flags configured by the workspace owner:

RouteWorkflow
/warehouse/boardKanban of delivery stages
/warehouse/mobileMobile operator mode
/warehouse/pickingPick operations and removal strategy guidance
/warehouse/wavesWave picking
/warehouse/batchesBatch picking
/warehouse/clustersCluster picking
/warehouse/cross-dockCross dock inbound stock to outbound demand
/warehouse/packsPack operations and cartons
/warehouse/shipmentsShipment confirmation and outbound posting

Picking can use FIFO, LIFO, FEFO, closest location, or least packages where configured. Shipping posts the outbound stock moves. If backorders are enabled, a short shipment can create a child delivery for the remainder.
