Getting started

Navigate the workspace

Use the sidebar, module navigation, search, list views, record pages, and Recently deleted areas efficiently.

The sidebar shows only modules installed for the workspace and allowed for the signed in user. A missing item is therefore usually an entitlement or permission result, not a broken link.

The main workspace groups routes by business area. Dashboard and the Agaro Agent come first. The groups are:

GroupWhat it holds
CRMContacts, Leads, Pipeline, Scheduling, and Services
FinanceQuotes, Invoices, Payments, Expenses, Income, Bank, Loans, Vendor Bills, Reports, and Taxes
HREmployees, Probation, Recruiting, Attendance, Payroll, Employee Loans, Appraisals, Separation, and Fleet
Tasks and ProjectsTasks and Projects
MarketingThe marketing modules you have installed
DevelopApp Builder, Domains, Workflows, Visitors, and Studio
Supply ChainProducts, Orders, Delivery, Inventory, Warehouse, and Purchase
SystemStore, Inbox, Mail, Users & Roles, Knowledge Base, Activity Log, Documents, and Data Cleaning

Platform and workspace settings sections appear only for the users they apply to. The group that used to be called Products and More no longer exists: Products moved to Supply Chain, Services moved to CRM, and Projects moved to Tasks and Projects. The Sales area was replaced as well. Sales orders are part of Orders, and deliveries, shipments, customer returns, and delivery methods are in Delivery. Old Sales addresses redirect to the new pages.

Many modules list their pages in a dropdown directly under their sidebar row, for example Orders, Delivery, Inventory, Warehouse, Purchase, Taxes, Invoices, Payroll, and Documents. The top bar shows the same pages as tabs, so the sidebar and the top bar never disagree. A page is listed only when you could open it, so a missing row usually means a module, role, or menu switch.

Some advanced Supply Chain pages stay out of the dropdowns until a Super Admin switches them on in Inventory → Settings. A page that is not listed still opens by its address. See Inventory control center.

The sidebar can collapse to a narrow rail of module icons with tooltips. Each module row has a small colored tile with its icon, so rows are easy to tell apart, and the open row is shaded.

Find a page quickly

Use the global command or search control in the application header to jump to a page. Search terms such as contacts, invoices, employees, purchase orders, or settings resolve to the canonical route.

Within a list page, use the search field, filters, saved views, column controls, and view switcher when supplied. Clearing a filter returns the default record set. A filtered empty state means no record matches the current query, not that the workspace has no data.

Get help with the Support button

The Support button, a life buoy icon, sits in the header just before Notifications. Its tooltip reads Get help from the Agaro team. When someone has trouble, one press opens the support chat.

  • When the support chat has loaded for you, the button opens it over the page. Its own close button closes it. There is no floating chat bubble in a corner of the screen any more.
  • When the chat is not available yet, for example because it is still loading or analytics is off or blocked in your browser, the button opens a Talk to the Agaro team card instead, where you pick a time for a call. The button is never a dead end.
  • Opening Support tells the chat who is asking, with your name, workspace, and role, only when you press the button and only when analytics consent allows it.

This is the only Support entry. The account menu under your card in the sidebar no longer has one. The button is not loaded at all on pages your own visitors open, such as booking pages, hosted forms, published sites, and payment links, even when you are signed in and previewing them.

Work with list pages

Most operational lists follow the same pattern:

  1. Use the primary action to create a record.
  2. Select rows for bulk actions where supported.
  3. Open the row action menu for view, duplicate, archive, or workflow actions.
  4. Use Recently deleted to restore soft deleted records.
  5. Use Import or Export only where that list declares support.

When a workspace is read only, creation and mutation controls are disabled even if the page remains visible.

Work with record pages

Record pages place the current status and workflow actions near the top. Editable fields save through the page action bar. Related records appear in tabs or smart buttons. Comments, files, activity, and audit history stay attached to the record where supported.

Do not use the browser Back button immediately after a save if the record page is still refreshing. Wait for the success notification or new route first.

Empty states

An empty state usually gives one safe next action. If no create action appears, check the following:

  1. Your role may be read only.
  2. The workspace may be in a billing or read only state.
  3. The required module or feature flag may be disabled.
  4. A filter may be hiding all rows.
  5. A prerequisite may be missing, such as a product before an inventory operation or a contact before an invoice.

Recently deleted

Contacts, leads, invoices, payments, expenses, vendor bills, employees, tasks, products, and several other modules use soft deletion. Moving a record to Trash removes it from active lists and totals but keeps it restorable.

Some operational documents cannot be deleted after they affect stock or accounting. Use the lifecycle reversal offered by that module, such as cancel, void, credit note, compensating stock move, or negative landed cost.
