Workforce
Time off
Request leave, review balances, approve requests, configure accruals, and run time off reporting.
Time Off uses the Attendance entitlement and has its own top level route at /time-off.
Employee self service
Open /time-off to review balance, personal requests, calendar, and who is out where permitted. Create a request at /time-off/new.
- Choose the time off type and dates.
- Enter the requested amount and reason where required.
- Submit the request.
- Monitor the approval status and remaining balance.
The balance projector helps show the effect of planned leave. It does not approve the request.
Approval queue
Managers and users explicitly assigned as approvers can review the queue. /time-off/management supports approve, refuse, or queue for a second approver.
The approver boundary is not based only on a manager title. A configured approver may receive the queue without receiving every manager only workforce view.
Configuration
Authorized managers use these routes:
| Route | Purpose |
|---|---|
/time-off/management/types | Leave types |
/time-off/management/accrual-plans | Accrual rules |
/time-off/management/allocations | Individual allocations |
/time-off/management/pool-allocations | Shared pool allocations |
/time-off/management/holidays | Workspace holidays |
Reporting
Open /time-off/reporting for per employee history, type breakdown, and left versus planned analysis. Match the report period to the payroll or workforce decision being reviewed.
Common problems
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| Request is not in a manager queue | The manager may not be the configured approver, or the request has not been submitted. |
| Balance is insufficient | Review allocation, accrual plan, approved usage, and request dates. |
| Second approval is required | The policy routed the request to another reviewer. |
| Time off does not affect payroll | Confirm it is approved and included in the payroll reporting period. |
