Connections and deliverability

Attach the mailbox, phone number and social accounts that marketing sends through, then keep what you send landing in inboxes.

Marketing does not send from nowhere. Before a campaign can go out, something has to carry it: a mailbox, a phone number, a connected social account. That is what Connections is for, and it is the first place to look when a send fails.

Open Connections

Open Marketing → Connections. Three tabs cover the three kinds of thing you can attach:

  • Outreach — the mailbox marketing email is sent from
  • Phone and SMS — the number text campaigns are sent from
  • Social media — the accounts posts are published to

Each tab lists what is already connected, with a status, and a search and an All / Connected filter once the list grows. Use the Connect menu in the page header to add something; an empty workspace has nothing listed below the card, and the Connect menu is the only way in.

Connected credentials are never displayed again after they are stored. You can remove a connection, but you cannot read the secret back out of Agaro.

Outreach: the mailbox

By default a workspace sends marketing email through the mailbox Agaro provides, capped at 100 outreach emails per month. Connect Gmail or Outlook on the Outreach tab and that cap no longer applies — you are then sending under your own provider, your own reputation and your own quota.

Removing a sender stops it being offered for new campaigns. Campaigns that were configured to use it will need another sender before they can send.

Phone and SMS

Connect a number on the Phone and SMS tab before building an SMS campaign. Test recipients must be in E.164 form — +17035550123 — and a test may carry at most three numbers.

Social media

Connect accounts on the Social media tab. The guided connection currently covers Instagram professional accounts reached through a Facebook Page you manage; the account must be a professional account and correctly linked to the Page, and an administrator has to have configured the platform integration first.

Disconnecting stops future scheduled posts for that account. It does not remove anything already published at the provider — only the provider can do that.

Keeping email in the inbox

Sending is the easy part. Landing is not.

Bounces

A bounce means the recipient's mail server rejected the message.

  • A hard bounce is permanent — the address does not exist, or the domain has no MX record. Remove these from your list. Continuing to send to them is one of the fastest ways to damage a sending reputation.
  • A soft bounce is temporary — a full mailbox, or a server that is briefly unavailable. These often clear on their own.

Open Email Marketing → Analysis to see sent, delivered, bounced, spam or complaint, and unsubscribed counts for a period, alongside a deliverability panel. When nothing was sent in the window the panel says so rather than implying a zero rate.

Provider rate limits

Every provider enforces its own ceiling, and it is not ours to raise. As a rough guide: Gmail allows up to 2,000 messages a day on Workspace accounts; Resend's free tier allows 100 a day, with higher volumes on paid plans. If a large send stalls part way, check the provider limit before assuming the campaign failed.

The blacklist

Open Email Marketing → Blacklist. Every row records a value, its kind, a status and a reason. Addresses land here when someone unsubscribes, and when a complaint or a hard bounce is recorded.

Treat this list as authoritative. It exists so that a suppressed address is not mailed again by a later campaign that happened to include it, and an address you remove from it can start receiving again — which is rarely what you want after a complaint.

For a deeper walkthrough, open Settings → Email → Deliverability, which carries the same guidance next to your workspace's own configuration.

Troubleshooting

A campaign will not send and names no sender

Nothing is connected on the Outreach tab, or the sender it was built with has since been removed. Connect a mailbox, then reopen the campaign.

The allowance says 0 of 100 but sending still fails

The cap is not the problem. Check the sender's status on the Outreach tab, then the delivery diagnostics on the campaign itself. A paused-for- deliverability state is stated in red on the allowance meter.

Social posts stay in Scheduled and never publish

Confirm the account is still connected, that the scheduled time has passed in the intended timezone, and that the post is not in Draft or Failed. Read the provider error before creating a duplicate.

Everything is connected but a marketing page is missing entirely

That is module installation, not connections. Open Store and install the module — see "A marketing page says you do not have access" in Campaigns, audiences, and delivery.
