Getting started
Which account do I have?
Every Agaro workspace belongs to the business that runs it. See what that means for who pays, who controls settings, and where to start.
Questions such as why am I being charged this, why can't I change that setting, and who do I ask for help usually come down to knowing whose workspace you are in. Agaro has one kind of workspace: your business's own.
What that means
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Who pays Agaro | The business that owns the workspace, per user, on its own subscription |
| Who controls the settings | The workspace's own Super Admins and Managers |
| Where support comes from | Agaro |
| Where your customers' payments go | Into your own Stripe account, not Agaro's |
Agaro no longer has agency workspaces or client workspaces managed by an agency. The old agency pages redirect to this page.
Check your own workspace
Open Settings → Subscription. It shows your plan, the current period, your paid add ons, and the billing controls your role may use. Only a Super Admin can start or change platform billing. See Manage a subscription and paid add ons.
If you joined an existing workspace by invitation, it belongs to the business that invited you. You do not have a subscription of your own. See Create your account.
Where to start
- Create your account.
- Set up your workspace: name, currency, tax identity, branding.
- Invite your team and set roles.
- Work through the onboarding checklist.
- Install the modules you need from the Store. See Apps catalog and modules.
Your money path is: send an invoice, get paid by card, and pay out to your bank, also in Payments, expenses, and income.
Still not sure
Open Settings → Subscription and read the plan name and status. For a billing question you cannot answer from that page, read Who pays whom.
